Happy New Year!
Is the Taize chant you are looking for Beati voi Poveri on Venite Exultemus? Also the music is in Christe Lux Mundi.

Thank you so much for your wonderful selections. Another one for this week is from Hope is Our Song (NZ Hymnbook Trust) 'From this Holy Time'. The chorus is 'Do justice, love mercy, walk humbly with God.' This has really caught on in our congregation.

Here are the words for Peter Oliver's Beatitudes Song:

O bless-ed be the ones so poor in spirit
for they will find in hea-ven their home
O bless-ed be all those that know deep mourning,
God's comfort shows that they are not alone.

And bless the meek for they will bless this precious earth
And all who hunger for the good will find
That they are filled with mercy and forgiveness
And this will spread beyond the limits of this time.

Blessed too the pure whose spirits shine so brightly
The light of God will show forth on their face.
And bless-ed be the peaceful friends of Jesus
Who make the world a much more hopeful place.

And blessed are you when persecutions strike you,
They cannot hide the realm of love begun.
In Christ we see the faithful reign of heaven
In life and death we're blessed because of God's true son.

Thanks, Natalie, as always, for your work. I'm planning to use Peter's words on Sunday, but can't get the email address listed for him to send.

Hi Liz, I've just checked it, did you replace the _at_ with an @? I just don't want spam software grabbing Peter's email address! best, Natalie
