Weekly song, hymn and recorded music suggestions and resources for worship - based on the Revised Common Lectionary. Suggestions are posted on Wednesday nights, usually a few weeks in advance of each Sunday.
Hi Natalie, Happy Christmas! Psalms for all seasons suggests for this Psalm 'Hail to the Lord's anointed' and a responsorial setting from Michael Joncas: 'In his days, justice will flourish; in his days fullness of peace forevermore'. I think we'll use the latter at our place. Rachel
Thanks Rachel, And guess what got for Christmas? Expect to see suggestions from Psalms for all seasons - thanks for the recommendation, it's great! cheers, Natalie
If you've nothing for "Paul's call", you could check out my song "Epiphany!". He's "Saul" there. Knowing Saul's form, would you include him in your church group (with its concern for 'safe place')? What about those Magi? Would we allow them in? Who and what are we open to when we gather on Sunday? Do we have the blindness of 'insiders'? http://db.tt/mX3ZF6xh

I would add "What Child Is This" because the third verse mentions "incense, gold, and myrrh"
